Veteran businessman Jay Y. Yuvallos has been named the new President of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI).
With a rich background in commerce and industry, Yuvallos is well-regarded for his leadership and contributions across various sectors.
Yuvallos has been at the helm of Interior Basics Export Corporation since 1994 and YZ Global Resources, Inc. since 2007, showcasing his adeptness in business management and commitment to industry excellence.
His roles extend internationally, serving as a Board Director at Sun Energy Developers Asia, Inc., and representing the Philippines in the EAST ASIA Business Council, highlighting his strategic vision and global engagement.
Beyond his business endeavors, Yuvallos’s influence is notable in advisory capacities at Carmen Copper Corporation and Atlas Consolidated Mining & Development Corporation.
His dedication to community and faith is manifest in his role as Chairman and Trustee at Bradford United Church of Christ, Inc. His leadership prowess was also evident during his tenure as President of the Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation, Inc. and as Chairman of Cebu X (International Furniture Exhibition).
Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce Major in Accounting from the University of San-Jose Recoletos, Yuvallos has built a solid academic and professional foundation. His long-standing affiliations with prestigious organizations since 1991 speak to his standing as a trusted leader in the field.
