The Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) has engaged in strategic dialogue with key government agencies to propel the economic progress of Cebu.
This collaboration, part of CCCI’s CEBU BUSINESS MONTH 2024, chaired by Vice President Regan Rex King, aims to establish a unified approach across various industries to enhance Cebu’s global competitiveness.
The dialogue included representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) 7, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) 7, Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) 7, Department of Agriculture (DA) 7, and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) 7.
This collective effort is designed to develop a cohesive framework that underscores the critical role of partnerships between Local Government Units (LGUs), government agencies, and the private sector in driving the region’s advancement.
Under the leadership of newly elected CCCI President Jay Yuvallos, the Chamber reaffirms its commitment to being the catalyst for business growth in Cebu.
By aligning its plans and programs with government initiatives, CCCI advocates for inclusive growth and aims to bolster Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), reinforcing Cebu’s position as a prime investment destination.
This year’s Cebu Business Month theme, “PADAYON CEBOOM,” reflects the aspirations of stakeholders and emphasizes the importance of continuous progress and economic boom in the region.
