The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in partnership with the U.S. government, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in the Philippines, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 7, and the Online Retail Corp. (ORC), is hostin an e-commerce seminar for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Cebu.
Scheduled for March 13-14, 2024, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the City Sports Club, Cebu City, the “E-Commerce Capacity Development Program for SMEs in Cebu” aims to enhance the digital presence and capabilities of local businesses.
Directed by USAID’s SPEED initiative, this program is set to mobilize enterprise-led development within the digital economy and increase the engagement of SMEs in the digital marketplace.
With a focus on four primary objectives—improving SMEs’ capacity and access to e-commerce platforms, expanding e-payment systems, integrating e-commerce with logistical supply chains, and enhancing consumer awareness and protection—the seminar promises to equip participants with essential tools and knowledge for navigating and thriving in the digital landscape.
The two-day event will offer a comprehensive look into the e-commerce ecosystem, providing SMEs with valuable insights, strategies for effective online business operations, and opportunities to network with industry experts.
