The Gealon Racing Team (GRT) claimed the top spot in the all-female category at the annual 12K Bridge to Bridge Run, with team member Fiscal Hazel Caraballe leading the way.
Caraballe finished with an impressive time of one hour and three minutes, navigating the challenging course that spans the bridges connecting Mandaue and Lapulapu cities.
The event, known for its scenic yet demanding route with a maximum elevation of 47 meters, saw strong performances across the board from GRT.
Other team members, including Fiscal Jill Ann Gealon, Limito Caraballe Jr., Alex Cabando, and Mikko Laguda, also excelled, setting personal bests in their respective categories.
Team Manager Rey Gealon highlighted the unique challenges posed by the bridge run, emphasizing the elevation and distance as tests of endurance and strategy.
He expressed gratitude for the team’s preparation and resilience, which were crucial in conquering the demanding course.
GRT’s success at the event was also supported by a robust network of sponsors, including XFM 88.3 Cebu of the Y2H Broadcasting Network, Thai Boran Massage, Armor Oil, Alin Brokerage, REAVO, Life and Health HMP Incorporated, Tri J Marketing, La Nueva Supermarket, and their official outfitter FTW Athletics, managed by Bertoni and Jeffrey Jane Salazar.
