Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced on Wednesday the launch of new routes to Masbate and Bangkok via the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) starting in October.
Beginning October 2, travelers from Cebu will be able to fly directly to Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The Gokongwei-led airline currently offers daily flights between Bangkok and Manila as well as Clark. In addition, CEB will introduce three weekly flights between the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and DMK starting July 16.
CEB will also commence three weekly flights between Cebu and Masbate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting October 25.
“Cebu Pacific is excited to expand our Cebu hub with these new routes. This expansion aligns with our mission to provide accessible and affordable air travel for every Juan,” CEB president Xander Lao said in a statement.
Lao emphasized the airline’s commitment to connecting more destinations and offering more choices.
To celebrate the new routes, Cebu Pacific is offering a special promotion with tickets available for as low as PHP1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges.
The promotion runs from June 5 to 13 and applies to travel between Cebu and DMK from October 2 to 25, and between Cebu and Masbate from October 25 to March 29.
