Top Line Business Development Corp. (Top Line), through its subsidiary Light Fuels Corp. (LFC), continues to expand its retail fuel network with the inauguration of two new service stations.
The ribbon-cutting and blessing ceremony took place on October 15, 2024, at the new stations located in Mandaue City: one at the corner of North Reclamation Road and Ouano Avenue, and the other on Cebu North Road in Jagobiao.
These service stations are strategically situated along major thoroughfares with significant vehicle traffic, catering to motorists in Metro Cebu.
The event also celebrated the company’s inaugural service station, launched in 2023 on A.C. Cortes Avenue, Mandaue City.
Meanwhile, two more Light Fuels service stations are expected to open in October 2024, located in Liloan, Cebu, and Looc, Lapu-Lapu City. This will bring the total number of operating fuel stations in Metro Cebu to five.
“This is a milestone for Top Line,” said Erik Lim, Top Line’s Chairman, President, and CEO. “For the last 11 years, we have focused on real estate and industrial fuel distribution. As we expand into the retail fuel sector, we are encouraged and see huge potential in the industry due to Cebu’s robust economy.”
Top Line has been engaged in fuel distribution, operating a leased fuel depot to support market demand, and has expanded into retail service stations.
“Our focus is on vertical integration,” Mr. Lim added. “We have backward integrated by including depot operations to support our growth, and forward integrated by opening service stations under our retail arm, the Light Fuels brand. Soon, we will be launching Light Fuels Express Stations around Metro Cebu, focusing on two-wheeled and light-wheeled vehicles—a very exciting development for Cebu.”
By the end of 2024, Top Line aims to have 10 Light Fuels stations in operation, including two Light Fuels Express stations.
