The Gealon Racing Team (GRT) showcased a powerful performance at the Mandaue Criterium Fiesta Race held today on F. Zuelleg Avenue.
Veteran cyclist Nilo Barbalosi emerged victorious in the 56-year-old and above road bike category, finishing decisively three minutes ahead of the competition.
His teammate, former Marlboro Tour Champion Rolando Pagnanawon, secured the first runner-up position.
In the 26 to 35 age group, young talent John Carcueva secured the second runner-up position.
The Fixie Bike category, known for its challenging technical handling due to its brakeless and gearless design, saw Jason Gomez taking second place, with teammate Clark Talic finishing third.
Fabled cyclist Junel Marte swept the mountain bike category, winning the championship in record time.
