Hawker Chan, the globally renowned Singaporean street-food chain, has officially opened its 20th branch in the Philippines at SM Seaside City Cebu.
This new outlet, located on the Ground Level, Mountain Wing of the mall, marks Hawker Chan’s first-ever location in the Visayas region, making its celebrated flavors accessible to food enthusiasts in Cebu.
The expansion to Cebu comes in response to growing local demand, with the restaurant aiming to bring its world-famous dishes, including the Michelin-starred Soya Sauce Chicken, to the Queen City of the South.
Franchisee Julius Neri Jr. expressed his excitement about the opening and hinted at further growth in the region.
“We are not stopping with one store. For sure this will not be the last,” Neri said, revealing plans to open another branch in Cebu’s Tops by October.
The new branch features Hawker Chan’s contemporary design concept, characterized by organic forms, bright tones, and hanging plants, creating a refreshing and inviting dining atmosphere. The restaurant offers both dine-in and take-out options, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all customers.
